A chapter on Passion Vines, By Karen Nesbitt
I grew these by seed a few years back and it is a perennial, but my vine died this winter so I am sowing them again along with some seed I got in from one of my seed swappers. They have all gone into the same pot, hoping that I will get more than one to germinate to transplant later.
Passion Flower – “Pasiflora caerulea” – $1.99 a pack – Sowed early, was supposed to wait until 3-19-19, but sowed them 3-3-19 in #600 nursery can with trellis – 30 days to germ -> 4-10-19 look for germ
Sow Dates:
- March 3 – actual sow date 2019
- March 19
- April 19
Germination
Germination can be expected around 30 days after sowing. I am looking for my germination to come on April 10th.
